The NEFF Fresh Air Program:

Innovative product design contributes to a healthy home.

NEFF uses a unique plywood made with a specially formulated non toxic glue (phenol resin), Phenol resin is free of the urea formaldehyde associated with conventional materials (particle board and standard plywood) and as an added feature also provides a waterproof bond making NEFF cabinets more resistant to damage caused by water leaks and humidity than conventional cabinets.

NEFF’s Acrylic Polyurethane finish also contributes to the healthy home. Conventional lacquers contain and continue to off gas urea formaldehyde long after they enter the home. In contrast, NEFF’s polyurethane finish is formaldehyde free and produces a cross linking chemical bond that eliminates off gassing before the product leaves the factory.
